This car is much different now, than when I first pulled it into my garage. In September of 2006 I flew into SLC Utah to pick this car up and drive it home. It was full 8v spec exluding the g60 swap. The g60 swap is from Steve Brown's Black NGP VRt Rallye golf. It is an 89' motor with a gen 1 charger.
I have every single reciept dating back to the very first owner. This includes oil changes, maintainence, modifications, the original window sticker, and the dealership options "order form" that the original owner filled out to get the car.

Modifications

Engine

The charger is ported and polished, Stage 4. At 5280ft Above sea level (Denver) I hold at 12lbs and spike 13 on a cold night. OEM Rallye golf FMIC. I recently put in a Bahn Brenner billet fuel rail when my factory rail cracked at the feed line. The motor has a 276*deg cam, smaller pulley, k&n drop in filter, chip, and porsche 3.5bar FPR. For a touch of polished goodness, hood lifts hold the hood up.

Transmission

The tranny is from a mk3 2.0l cross flow, with a taller 4th and 5th gear for freeway cruising. The clutch is a 16v clutch and pp with a lightened flywheel. (this is one area that should be addressed as the motor is too much power and gears tend to slip under heavy boost).

Suspension

This GTI rides on Koni fully adjustable coilovers, lower front neuspeed sway bar and a polished Autotech upper strut bar. All of the bushings have been swapped for poly eurothane, and the rear neuspeed sway bar removed.

Exhaust

The exhaust is custom 2.5inch cat back exhaust with a magnaflow muffler and dual square-rounded tip. Gives for a Very deep growl and a nice tone at idle.

Brakes

The front brakes have been upgraded to corrado g60 brakes with EBC greenstuff brake pads, and autotech stainless steel brake lines all the way around. Future plans include a rear disc swap.

The wheels that cover the brakes are 15x7.5inch Work Equipe Replicas (Drag DR20 wheels) with front and rear spacers, and custom fit polished audi center caps.

Other

I have since converted everything to 16v spec. This includes full Recaro interior, Suede headliner, 337 shift knob, GTI 16v floor mats, b pillar seatbelt conversion, audi tt pedals, custom dash lighting (blue led) painted needles as well, and custom center console gauge plate with autometer boost and oil psi gauges with blue led lighting to match dash. Stereo components (incl: Sirius satellite radio, alpine ipod interface, 8inch bazooka tube sub/amp, and infinity speakers.)

On the exterior of the car, the GTI door moulding badges have been swapped for blanks, Black round wolfsburg badges placed on the fenders, banannas painted black, mk2 Door armor plates on both doors, rear 85 hatch glass swapped and 3rd brake light deleted, 16v/g60 arches, crosshair relayed h4 headlights, badgeless single round grille, kamei grille blend, OEM Hella fogs, smoked turn signals, and Euro spec Hella full smoked tail with "yolk" removed to give full smoked apearance.
