Amy Brooks

Purchased recently (about a week ago) for $1100, doesn't need a lot of work. I'm restoring it to prime stock condition cosmetically. Mechanically, I want to improve upon performance in some minor ways.

Modifications

Engine

Really good motor mounts are on the way. Have to get that done first so other things don't go awry.

Transmission

Original 5sp, even has original clutch--but that will change soon.

Suspension

Original, will eventually change.

Exhaust

Not sure what I'll do to the exhaust yet, definitely will improve upon stock.

Brakes

Also undecided so far, depends on how fast it can go when I'm done with the other modifications.

Other

Focusing on major mechanical first (motor mounts, clutch, gas tank) and some of the obvious cosmetic issues, like peeling paint, wheels that need to be refinished, and minor interior issues. Then the focus will be on preserving what is good. After that--the fun modifications start!
