Purchased brand new on January 1st 1999 as my first car. Many VW's have come and gone, but the beetle has always remained. It has gone through many changes and looks including lots of vinyl. Finally the car has settled to the clean euro look i wanted and a little extra power courtesy of a T3 turbo kit I fabricated myself after deciding I can't wait for the manufacturers anymore.
