I started this project about 3 years ago with my friend (Joe) neither of us had any experience with a project like this. This is my first vw and I got hooked right away. The car was a blast to drive and after the suspension it handled like it was on rails. After a year with just suspension work done I decided it was about time I made some power. So I bought a 1990 audi 200 as a daily driver while the cabriolet was under the knife. It took awhile to figure out exactly what I wanted to do then I found the engine and the rest of the pieces all fell togther.
