Originally an 8v GTI. I purchased the car in Febuary 2005 for $450 with a tired 16v swap from an 88 scirocco. It even had the Scirocco intake manifold, wiring, fuel lines, and air box installed too....yuck! Though "driveable", things had to change.
Update 3-3-08: Colorado weather and a non-working shop heater has stifled my progress for the last 3 months, but it's warming up now and new, updated pictures will be posted soon.
Update 4-7-08: Motor & tranny installed, along with the supercharger.....finally! Might be some light at the end of the tunnel after all.
Update 6-03-08: Intercooler and plumbing installed. Just need to mount/ wire aftermarket rad. fan, misc. wiring, add oil, coolant, some misc. stuff and cheetah blood.
