USRT is proud to announce the newly redesigned Long Runner intake manifold for VW's 2.0 crossflow (ABA) motor. The ground up redesign features CNC milled head flange, throttle body flange, velocity stacks and brackets. Designed to be a direct fit for the ABA motor the USRT Long Runner manifold will increase throttle response as well as horsepower across the power band. Like our previous manifolds, the current manifold was designed with ease of installation and and a clean look in mind, without losing sight of our goals to get the most power possible out of the 2.0 motor. This manifold can make great power gains in natuarally aspirated configurations, and will benefit even greater with head work, remapped software and a free flowing exhaust. The USRT manifold also compliments custom turbo systems to allow the motor to breathe in all the boost.
Increasing horsepower while maintaining a punchy bottom end is a priority for rally cars and is especially helpful on the street. Dyno testing has proven that even mild normally aspirated engines gain as much as 12% after this simple bolt on with next to zero reductions in low-rpm torque. Engines running boost, head work, wild cams, etc. will benefit even more. The aggressive growl sounds simliar to anyone who has heard ITBs in action.
