Stress bars are an important bolt on for all water-cooled VW's, whether it's for street or competition use. The triangulated* design of our upper-front stress bars help to eliminate the roll and twist of the front sheet metal frame. Construction consists of heavy wall 7/8" and 3/4" diameter steel tubing and is welded to 1/4" thick steel mounting plates. Finished in gloss black powder coat. Euro Sport upper-front stress bars require no cutting of the firewall or body modifications. Unlike some of our competitor's bars, ours are true bolt-ons! Our stress bars are designed and manufactured to fit properly!
