Use this short shift lever to directly upgrade the classic SMARTSHIFT2 solid linkage kit in a Mk2 vehicle. Installation requires less work when compared to starting with a stock lever. Plastic is eliminated for even less deflection and incrementally sharper shifting. Of course, the main benefit is remarkably shortened front/back travel. Features 3 adjustment holes to dial in the amount of shift reduction (by 12%, 31%, or 50%). This lever can also be used in Mk3 vehicles if the engine/transmission mounts are fresh and not sagged.
